I take care of my grandkids; 4 beautiful grandkids. They are all very social and they are always surrounded by their cousins and their friends, everyday, after school and on the weekends.

My house is filled with lovely noises from the grandkids; playing, laughing and the front door, opening and closing, constantly.

This is when I came up with an idea of a youth center, a place where all the kids can go play and be safe, and also a place of wellness.

Now, through trials and tribulations, we've finally obtained Anna House Youth Center Inc.

As an Educational Support Service, we want to empower and instill to the Youth of Stebbins and the Youth of surrounding communities the importance of furthering their education through college/vocational/ technical or trade school.

These Youth are our next generation leaders and we want to see them succeed and come back and take on lead roles and responsibilities in our government places.

This is not only a building but a place where the Youth and the Elders will grow together and our traditional knowledge will be passed on to generations to come.

Anna House Youth Center Inc (AHYC Inc) operates through a Board of Directors compromised of eight members, who are responsible for the policies and procedures as well as oversight of all the activities carried out by the AHYC Inc. The Board of Directors provides general direction for all fiscal and organizational activities of the AHYC Inc and staff.
